We’ve got connections with all the leading suppliers and manufacturers of floor coverings. We admit to being biased towards Brampton Chase luxury vinyl collections and British Wool Carpets – but being independent we don’t limit your options!

Preparation & Installation

There’s no hanging around waiting when you contract with Finch Flooring. We arrive punctually by arrangement, fully equipped with the materials, tools and equipment we need for the project, and set to work.

We believe good preparation of the sub-floor is key to a fine finish and to keep the floor looking good for years to come, and we’ll do what it takes to make sure this is accomplished to perfection. We’ll also install an appropriate underlay where necessary.

If there is any old floor covering to be removed this will be done quickly and neatly. We legally dispose of all waste products and offcuts produced during our floor fitting operations, and recycle this wherever possible.

Specialist Wool Carpet Fitting

Although Finch Flooring are fully qualified and experienced in fitting all kinds of floor covering, we are acknowledged specialists in laying hugely popular British wool carpeting in the Wantage area. Wool carpeting requires expert knowledge as well as certain techniques and tools to fit perfectly and maintain its hard-wearing properties for many years.

Many of our clients opt for British wool carpets not just to be patriotic, but because they are naturally fire resistant, easy to maintain, sustainably produced and hypoallergenic.

As a business Finch Flooring are strong supporters of naturally grown British wool carpeting, and also promote British manufactured floor coverings and hard wood flooring.
